Working Group Benefits, Costs, and Risks in Research Cooperations

This working group acts as a bridge for the sustainable networking of science and industry. It develops approaches to promote collaboration between the two sides, with a focus on data use and data sharing.

The group's work encompasses:

  • Conducting a needs analysis from both the science and industry perspectives
  • Validating practical examples of existing cooperations
  • Developing a benefit-risk balance framework applicable to cross-sector collaborations
  • Using focus groups to develop, generalise, and legally and contractually underpin concrete projects and scenarios
